Heather holds a vision that we live in a world where all of us are living healthy empowered lives. Where all individuals have access to expert healthcare and are guided along a path to to being your best healthy self. Partnering with people to help them move and feel better in their bodies is Heather’s intention. She is eager to help you with a current problem and work with you before an injury or illness starts.
Outside of her work, Heather loves being outside in nature and playing in the mountains. She loves feeling the flow of the trails on her bike, under skis or under her feet with her friends. Enjoying some time in stillness is key to fluid movement and health.
Heather has followed a path to her work as a Physiotherapist through the completion of her Physiotherapy Degree at the University of Toronto. Following the initial into the world of healthcare Heather completed her Diploma in Manual and Manipulative Therapy with Distinction and certification in acupuncture and sports physiotherapy. These courses have lead to opportunities to provide support with the host medical teams at the Vancouver 2010 and London 2012 Olympics. Through integrating clinical and course work, Heather has enhanced her assessment and observational skills to better serve you in the the virtual office. With a desire to learn more and discover solutions to empower individuals to be their best healthy selves Heather completed a Doctor of Science in Physical Therapy. Part of this work has lead to the development of the virtual multi disciplinary healthcare team. We know we must collaborate to get the best results and truly make a change in our health.

Osteopathic Manual Therapy Approach
Steve spent 12 months from 2016 to 2017 as the lead physiotherapist for the Chinese Olympic Team. He supported the team through training and performance at the RIO Olympics in 2016 and brought back a wealth of knowledge. Educationally, he graduated with a Masters in Rehabilitation Science and Neurophysiology from McGill University in 1992 and a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Saskatchewan in 1981. He has also completed a 5 year program in Osteopathic manual therapy and a 4-month program in traditional acupuncture from China.
As former Head Physiotherapist at Simon Fraser University for all varsity athletes from 1982-1987, he has had the opportunity to become the medical coordinator for the Women’s Canada Cup Fastpitch tournament since 1994 and team therapist for the New Westminster Salmonbellies Sr. Men’s Lacrosse team since 2006.
Steve’s areas of interests include return to work planning, chronic pain management, post-concussion management, injuries related to track and field, football and lacrosse.

Cheryl is powered by her dedication and passion for nutrition science and desire for life-long learning and education methods to help support decision making and change. She has extensive and varied experience with risk reduction and treatment of inflammatory processes and disease, weight management, pre/diabetes, cardiovascular disease, gastrointestinal health, kidney disease, allergies, food intolerance, nutrition for sport and women’s and family health. She strives to facilitate wholistic step-by step and big-picture, consistent, flexible changes for choosing foods, encouraging self-management and instilling confidence to celebrating successes. Cheryl can provide tangible solutions and ideas for food selection and preparation and support a cultural diversity.
Cheryl enjoys gardening, music, dance, yoga, cycling and family time. She first became very interested in nutrition in elementary school. Her mother predicted she would be a nutritionist.
